Lingtou Baiye is produced in Lingtou Village, Pingxi Town, Raoping County, Guangdong Province. Its variety comes from the excellent Narcissus Baiye series of Wudong Mountain in Fenghuang Town. It was introduced in the 1950s with excellent quality and unique characteristics. flavor. In the middle of the last century, it began to be planted in Lingtou Village at the junction of Raoping and Fenghuang. Later, due to the right time and favorable location, it developed rapidly and became a school of its own, named Lingtou Dancong. The most amazing thing about this village is that the quality of other varieties of Phoenix Dancong is not satisfactory, except for the single clump of white leaves.

In the 1990s, China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs ordered a batch of Lingtou Dancong tea as the tea for the foreign guests of Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. Since 2002, it has been approved as a national-level fine tea tree by the Ministry of Agriculture.

This is an old cong tea tree from Lingtou. Compared with the honey orchid fragrance of Fenghuang Dancong, it has a stronger honey flavor and stronger fir flavor, but the orchid fragrance is not as high as Fenghuang Dancong, which is milder. The reason why many old tea drinkers prefer Lingtou Laocong is that the tea soup is more "meaty" and more tasteful. Generally speaking, the Lingtou white leaf base of Laocong has more rhyme and unique flavor, which is worth tasting.

岭头白叶，属于凤凰单丛十大香型的蜜兰香，产于广东省饶平县坪溪镇岭头村，其品种来源于凤凰镇乌岽山优秀水仙白叶系，于上个世纪中开始种植于饶平与凤凰交界的岭头村，后因天时，地利，发展迅速，自成一派，得名岭头单枞。该村最神奇的是，种植其它凤凰单丛品种，品质差强人意，唯独白叶单丛一支独绣。

上世纪90年代，中国国家外交部订购一批岭头单丛作为钓鱼台宾馆外宾部招待用茶，2002年开始，国家农业部审定为国家级良种茶树。

这是一款来自岭头的老枞茶树，相对于凤凰单枞的蜜兰香来说，其蜜韵更浓，枞味更浓，但兰花香没有凤凰单枞高扬，显得比较温和，这也是很多老茶客偏爱岭头老枞的原因，茶汤更加有‘肉’，更加的有品头，总体来讲，老枞的岭头白叶底韵更足，别有风味，值得一品。
